DERBY
RULES
- Contestants are automatically entered in the Derby when
they join the $5 boat pool. Only participants in the boat
pool are eligible for the Derby.
- 20%
of all money in each day’s boat pool is placed
in the Derby.
- Contestants may enter only one fish each day.
- All eligible fish must be weighed on the official dock
pool scale, or a method approved by the Captain, and witnessed
by a Trade Winds crew member.
- Duration of the contest will be from May 29, 2008, through
the last advertised fluke trip aboard Trade Winds.
- Trade
Winds Pool Rules will govern the Derby, not State or
Federal regulations.
- Capt.
Paul reserves the power to exercise judgment in the best
interest of a fair and equitable Derby.
BOAT POOL RULES
- Capt.
Paul’s decision will be final in all circumstances.
- Only the advertised fish of the day is eligible in the
pool.
- Contestants
may only re-weigh a fish at the mate’s
discretion.
- Evidence
of
tampering will subject a fish to dissection, and, upon
verification of tampering,
disqualify the entrant from present and all subsequent
pools."
- Only one rod is allowed in use per angler at any time,
regardless of pool enrollment. Use of a second rod while
engaged with an eligible fish may be grounds for disqualification.
- It
is customary to tip the crew a portion of any pool winnings.

Fine Print
- By accepting prize delivery, winner agrees to the use
without compensation of their name in TradeWinds/Mrs. G
Fishing's marketing materials and/or a list of TradeWinds/Mrs.
G Fishing's giveaway winners.
- By accepting
prize delivery, winner agrees to release TradeWinds/Mrs.
G Fishing, its directors, employees, officers, and agents,
including without limitation, its advertising agencies,
from any and all liability, loss or damages arising from
or in connection with the awarding, receipt, and/or use or
misuse of prize or participation in any prize-related activities.
- TradeWinds/Mrs. G Fishing reserves right to substitute
prizes of equal value. TradeWinds/Mrs. G Fishing l
is responsible only for prize delivery; not responsible
for prize utility, quality or otherwise.
- This offer is void outside the United States and Canada
and where prohibited or restricted by law and is subject
to applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
All taxes, title, licensing and registration and other
fees are the sole responsibility of prize winners contest,
each entrant accepts the conditions stated in these rules,
and warrants that s/he is eligible to participate in this
contest.
